There are so many different acne treatments out there it feels impossible to be able to know what the best acne medicine is, or what exactly we are looking for. For those of us who are lucky to not have this occur, that isn’t good either. That means the Proactive is being effective in the way that it is clearing out the excess bacteria our skin is making also. Than our skin gradually becomes dependent on it, which means if we discontinue using it, or even miss a day, we almost immediately breakout. Even worse, our skin can become immune to the chemicals, making the solution no longer work for us, meaning we will have to take a break from it for a few weeks in order for it to be effective again.

Than comes the prescription method. The most widely known best acne medicine that is prescribed is Accutane. This option is great as a completely LAST resort. This is because it comes with side effects that do not just effect the skin, but also many factors such as our menstural cycle, digestive tract, hormonal balances, etc.
